Anthony Jones, Principal of AMJ Financial has recently been appointed as the European Chair of MDRT - the leading worldwide association of financial professionals.

It is the first time that an Irish member has risen to this position and Mr Jones is now part of a team running the organisation on behalf of its 70,000 worldwide members. As part of his new role, Anthony was asked to donate €1,000 to a charity of his choice.

And, after much deliberation, Anthony along with wife Caroline and staff members Annemarie Wade and Amy Ormonde chose Wexford Marinewatch to be recipients of this award. Wexford MarineWatch is a voluntary organisation which provides Suicide Prevention Patrols along Wexford Quays, Estuary and Harbour.

'Marinewatch provides such an invaluable service to the people of Wexford. Anthony's family in Wales has a big lifeboat and maritime history in Anglesey and we all as a team see those volunteers day and night after night, protecting people and saving lives.'

'We are delighted to Name Wexford Marinewatch as AMJ Financial's Charity of choice now and in the future,' said Caroline.
