Weaving work on show
WEXFORD weaver Terry Dunne is among the artists whose work is to be showcased at an exhibition in Kilkenny.
Terry who lives in Woodgraigue, Duncormick will join woodturners, ceramicists, basketmakers, stained glass artists and jewellers in the exhibition at the National Craft Gallery.
The participants were all selected for the Irish Craft Portfolio 2010 publication, established by the Arts Council, which promotes the work of some of Ireland's finest craftworkers.
The portfolio features contemporary craftworkers who create pieces that are considered to be of an international exhibition standard.
