Wexford Has Talent picks seven of its semi-finalists

The first group of Wexford Has Talent Semi Finlaists took to the stage at Whites of Wexford on Saturday to battle it out for a coveted place in the Valentine's Day final.

Welcoming the contestants, the judges and the 300 plus strong audience the MC's on the night Tony Carty and Catherine 'Biddy' Walsh announced a night of spectacular talent and as the evening progressed this certainly proved true.

The night opened with a real showcase of Wexford talent as Champion Boxer Dean Walsh took to the stage to unveil his championship cups and belt and offer some words of encouragement to all of the contestants.

Performers from as young as 10 took to the stage showing skills from Free Running to Ballet to Trad Music and Singer Songwriter performances and lots more.

The successful seven contestants through to the February 14 final are Rachel Grace, Vyre, Eimear O'Donnagain, Lauren Doyle, Fit For Kings, Paul Murphy and Evey Roche

The second Wexford Has Talent Semi Final featuring 15 different contestants is set to take place on January 31 at Whites of Wexford at 7.30 p.m. Tickets to both are on sale.
