Wexford Male Voice Choir under new baton
Wexford Male Voice Choir has appointed of Fearghal O'Connor as its new Musical Director. He will take up the post in January and will become only the fifth full-time conductor the choir have had in their 76-year history.
A native of Waterford, Mr O'Connor has conducted with the De La Salle College Senior Choir, the Lismore Choir & CIT Chamber Choir from Cork. He also founded the Youth Chorus of Waterford in 2014.
He takes over from Greg Currid who had been Musical Director with the Choir since 2007.

We would also like to extend our thanks to Greg for his hard work and dedicated service over the past nine years and we wish him every success in his future musical career,' said Terry Byrne, on behalf of the choir.
