Wexford Variety Group launch annual charity show
Wexford Variety Group launched their upcoming annual charity show 'Pandora's Box' last week.
The show was launched by Cllr George Lawlor, whose musical 'career' began with the Wexford group.
There will be two performances, on April 7 and 8 in Clonard Community Centre, both starting at 8 p.m.
This year's chosen charity is the Wexford Able Disabled Club, a club with 100 members who meet once a week, and provide a range of different activities for people with disabilities.
'Wexford Variety Group has about 100 members with some of them as young as five or six taking to the stage. This year's show will be full of music, dancing, and comedy and will include some extra special guests,' said committee member Anne O'Gorman.
Tickets are on sale now at €12 for an adult and €7 for under 16, and can be bought from any member from the Wexford Variety Group, and Wexford Able Disabled Club. Tickets are also on sale in Clonard Parish Office.
