Woman plucked from harbour
A YOUNG WOMAN was rescued from Wexford Harbour in the early hours of last Friday morning.
It's believed the woman entered the water shortly after midnight and Wexford Gardaí alerted the RNLI's Inshore Lifeboat, which launched at 12.31 a.m.
The woman was quickly located in the water just off the south break water wall. The lifeboat brought the woman back to their station, where an ambulance was waiting to rush her to Wexford General Hospital.
