Youth remanded on burglary charge
THE 15-YEAR-old Wexford youth charged with the burglary of Wexford Vocational College has been remanded in custody at Trinity House for a week while proper Probation Officer reports are written.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been warned 'for his own good' to cooperate with the Probation services, by Judge John Lynsey.
'It is important that you engage with the Probation Service. If they are allowed to do their job these people are there to improve your life,' said Judge Lynsey in private chambers at Wexford District Court on Monday.
The youth is charged with include burglary at Wexford Vocational School and being intoxicated in public on August 14; burglary and causing criminal damage at White's Hotel Georges Street on August 8; theft from Tesco Wexford on September 2.; and handling stolen property on August 27.
The youth is currently in custody at Trinity House.
He was remanded in custody until October 4.
