Aileen Donohoe, who will be playing Evita at the National Opera House with The Wexford Light Opera Society in April, will be performing a lunchtime concert with the Cavan Sinfonia at The Presentation Centre, in Enniscorthy, on Sunday, February 28 at 3 p.m.

Cavan Sinfonia will be conducted by Aileen's cousin Susan Donohoe, an Enniscorthy native.

'Sue and I grew up together and both trained in London at The Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music, and we will be performing together for the first time in Enniscorthy,' said Aileen.

A new piece, 'Torch Wood' by Elaine Agnew will be performed by the orchestra and conducted by the composer herself. This piece was commissioned in 2015 and received it premiere in December with The Cavan Sinfonia.
