An audience with a chef
Stand-up comedian cum chef George Egg, who cooks proper food on stage using unconventional methods and unexpected equipment, is bringing his new show to Wexford Arts Centre on Tuesday, September 25, at 7.30 p.m.
In a performance that combines live cooking with live comedy, George prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner using such aids as a wallpaper stripper, a heat gun, paper shredder and a host of power tools, office equipment, hairdressing appliances and gardening tools. His lucky audience gets to eat the food at the end.
His latest show 'DIY Chef' comes to Wexford following a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival and is described as mad and silly but at the same time informative and interesting. George appeared on BBC 4 Extra's The Comedy Club and is currently touring the UK and Ireland.
