Booking open for 'Hits from the Musicals'

Booking for Wexford Light Opera Society's new production of the popular 'Hits from the Musicals' show, has opened at the National Opera House.

The annual sell-out event takes place in Clayton Whites Hotel from Monday, October 28 to Thursday, October 31 during Wexford Festival Opera.

It is held as an Opera Festival fringe event, in association with sponsors Bolands Mercedez-Benz.

The musical playlist includes musical theatre and light opera numbers, sung by the AIMS award-winning chorus and principals of the society.

The 'Hits' is under the musical direction of Fintan Cleary and chorus mistress Eithne Corrigan with this year's director being Peter McCamley, who played Caractacus Potts in the Society's recent successful show 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'. The MC is Catherine 'Biddy' Walsh.
