The King will most certainly be alive at Bridgetown College this festive season as students from the school perform 'All Shook Up', a show inspired by the legend of Elvis Presley.

Containing music from the King's early 'Heartbreak Hotel' days right through to his memorable comeback, this show runs from Tuesday, December 3 until Thursday, December 5 with tickets now available at the school's general office.

Recently appointed Principal Adrian Power said he has been overwhelmed by the response by students and staff wishing to participate in or help out with this year's production.

'It is fantastic to see so many students getting involved in extra-curricular activities such as music and sport and we are delighted to be producing a show of this calibre that has received rave reviews all over the world.

'This is an opportunity for Bridgetown College to showcase the enormous talent we have on offer and we are looking forward to welcoming audiences of all ages over the three nights.'

The main cast members of 'All Shook Up' this year were auditioned under the experienced eye of director and music teacher at Bridgetown College, Eileen Creevey, and include Josh Quigley Power (Chad), Emily Xu (Natalie), Jack O Brien (Dennis), Grainne Bates (Miss Sandra), Noemi Savanian (Sylvia), Caoimhe Van Der Bliake (Lorraine), Brendan Thompson (Dean) and Emma Murphy (Matilda).

Tickets are priced at €10 for adults and €8 for students and children and can be purchased at the General Office daily from 11 a.m. to 11.20 a.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays and 11.10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
