Wexford Campus School of Art and Design BA graduate Mary Archer invited fellow students from third year to join her in a summer exhibition called 'Colleagues' which will run in the Stella Maris Centre in Kilmore Quay until September 10

The exhibition, which opened with a 'meet the artists' reception last Friday night, features work by Claudia Roche, Richard Walsh, Jamie Sinnott, Darragh Fanning, Sonya Weston, Laura Flood and Mary herself.

'The work and the mediums vary as much as the artists themselves. There is at least 50 years between the ages of the youngest and the oldest artist so the same briefs are being seen from very different viewpoints,' said Mary of the work, which was made by the artists during the past academic year. 'Some work is bright, joyful and semi-abstract while other work is photo-realism in darker shades. There is something for everyone to enjoy.'

The Stella Maris Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
