Top Irish stand-up and TV comic Neil Delamere is coming to Wexford with his brand new tour, The Fresh Prince of Delamere.

The Offaly funnyman, one of the biggest names in Irish comedy and whose star continues to rise internationally, will take to the stage at White's Hotel on January 16 at 8pm.

Commenting on The Fresh Prince of Delamere show and tour, Neil said: 'It's another show full of new tales of mischief and mayhem. Apart from the usual audience interaction it hopefully casts an acerbic eye over some of my recent adventures. Free tips include honeymoon etiquette, appropriate machine gun usage and how to get €400 cash out of a petrol station owner.'

Described by The Scotsman as 'a master', Delamere is renowned for his on-stage banter and quick-witted, well-observed yarns and previous tours and international appearances - including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

With stellar reviews as well as a number of platinum-selling DVDs under his belt, Neil has turned his attention to comedy documentaries, writing and presenting the IFTA Award and Celtic Media Award-winning TV programmes on the Vikings and St. Patrick. His recent four part series on heroes from Ireland's past, Holding out for a Hero, was broadcast as part of RTE 2's autumn schedule.
