There were plenty of star-struck young Wexford fans at Enniscorthy Greyhound Track recently as members of the Wexford Senior Hurling panel mingled with supporters at the Cairde Loch Garman Race night fundraiser in aid of Wexford GAA.

The lads were great sports and posed for plenty of selfies with young fans during the course of what has become a major annual fundraiser. Among those in attendance were Captain Matthew O'Hanlon, local Rapparees men Liam Ryan and Kevin Foley, goalkeeper Mark Fanning, Paul Morris and Shaun Murphy and all were happy to spend some time with young fans, signing autographs and posing for photos.

As well as a great night of racing, there were also plenty of mini games held in the centre of the track to keep punters entertained and give them the chance to perhaps see some inter-county stars of the future.

The organisers were extremely grateful to all businesses who supported the venture and everyone who came through the turnstiles on the night and all money raised will now go directly towards funding the enhancement and development of the GAA across Wexford so that hopefully we can follow in Limerick's footsteps soon and bring the Liam McCarthy back to Slaneyside!
