The Mayor of London St Patrick's Day Parade was held on March 18 from a starting point at Green Park proceeding to Trafalgar Square, where thousands of people turned up for the music and festivities.

The Ballindaggin Pipe Band, proudly led by Jim Byrne, took part in its sixth parade with the contingent from the London-Wexford Association and with the Fr Murphy ladies out in front carrying the county flags.

The London-Wexford Association had a float entered in the parade courtesy of Justin Ffrench. Celtic Crunch Band supplied live music while the O'Connor School of Irish Dancing provided a fine display of Irish Dancing on the float.

To finish off the festivities, the association arranged an Irish night of music and dance and storytelling at The Mazenod Club, managed by Wexford narive Anna Redmond, in Kilburn, The Ballindaggin Pipe Band gave a performance on the night and the band's chairman Pat Armstrong said they were privileged and honoured to have received such a warm reception.
