Mini Mudder is no obstacle to local children

CHildren from across Wexford unleashed their inner explorer as they took on the 'Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder' obstacle course at St Aidan's SuperValu.

The event, which was organised by Britvic Ireland, saw the kids ducking and diving through a wire maze, balance across a beam and potter their way through a pyramid puzzle. It aimed to give participants a taste of what's to come at the one mile Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder event in Loughcrew Adventure Centre on July 9 and 10.

Commenting on the roadshow, Caroline Hyde of Britvic Ireland said:

'It is a great way of showcasing the fun and activity that families will have at Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder and will really whet people's appetites ahead of the main event in July.'

Song project in Kilmuckridge

5 LOCAL SONG PROJECT: Traditional singer Aileen Lambert will facilitate a new project focusing on exploring local songs and unaccompanied traditional singing in Kilmuckridge. Starting this Wednesday, September 13 from 7.30 p.m. in Bridie Hammel's Pub this project will take place over the course of a number of weeks.
