Opera House to keep it country for special gig
Wexford Opera House will reverberate to the sound of some of the most iconic names in Country music later this month when it plays host to the American Country Show.
Now seen by over 250,000 people, the production has already enjoyed considerable success this year having been staged, with sell out performances, in over 100 prestigious venues across the UK.
The show, which will take place on Friday, April 20, will feature four formidable singers, Rod and Tracey McAuley, along with Joe Moore and James McGarrity, who will perform the hits of some of the most famous stars of music including Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard and Don Williams.
