Over 80 artists to feature at Greenacres exhibition
THIS year's Wexford Opera Festival exhibition at Greenacres will feature work from over 80 artists.
The official opening of the 10th festival exhibition at Greenacres will be by Garry Hynes, Artistic Director of Galway's Druid Theatre, on Saturday, October 22, at 12 noon.
The exhibition will include a collection of contemporary Irish art as well as Greenacres' first extensive exhibition of Irish sculpture.
There will be new work from over 80 professional artists, while the sculptors exhibiting include John Behan, Sandra Bell, Colm Brennan, Rory Breslin, Deborah Brown, Paddy Campbell, Cathy Carman, John Coll, Jarlath Daly, Nicholas Dolan, Ana Duncan, Philip Flanagan, Niall Harkin, Leo Higgins, Rachel Joynt, Seamus Kelly, Sonja Landweer, James MacCarthy, Elizabeth O'Kane, Willie Page, Padraic Reaney, Mark Ryan, Anthony Scott, Fiona Smith-Darragh, Joseph Sloan, Imogen Stuart and the late Eamonn O'Doherty.
