The 25th anniversary of 90s grunge icon Kurt Cobain will be well and truly marked in Wexford as Cork based alternative rockers Paradox hit the Crown Live stage with a full set of Nirvana's best-loved tunes.

Cobain infamously died by suicide on April 5 of 1994, much to the devastation of a generation of music fans who felt an intense connection to him through the music of Nirvana.

To mark 25 years since his passing, Paradox are excited to bring their Nirvana show to Wexford on April 27.

The show will mark a return to The Crown Live for the Cork based group as they also took part in the 'Battle For Seattle' night last October alongside Kilkenny's fines 'The Year Grunge Broke'.

What started as a one-off event for the band to mark the 20th anniversary of Cobain's death in 2014, has now turned into a regular event due to the popularity of the shows and they are delighted to return to mark 25 years since the passing of an icon.

Paradox also played to a jammed packed house at the 25 year anniversary of Nirvana's legendary Cork gig at Sir Henry's which took place on the grounds of the original venue now known as Deep South.

The band draws heavily on all three Nirvana studio albums and attempts to recreate some of the energy and passion of a Nirvana live show. Tickets are currently on sale from The Crown Bar or at
