Stage is set for as county prepares to welcome inaugural Wexford Harvest Festival
Wexford's newest festival is set to burst onto the scene on Sunday, September 15, as the inaugural Wexford Harvest Festival takes over the IOAC campus in Tagoat.
A real family affair, it promises something for everyone, young and old, as well as being a celebration of all that is great about Wexford.
The new event has the full support of Wexford County Council, Fáilte Ireland, Wexford Food Family and Taste Wexford and the large IOAC campus is the ideal site, with ample parking and a fantastic outdoor venue.
For the foodies, the festival promises a wealth of artisan food producers and other suppliers, offering some of the most delicious treats that Wexford has to offer. For the adventurers, there will be many activities, such as tossing cabres, welly throwing, archery, high rope adventures, fun team games and much, much more.
There is to be plenty of live music on site over the course of the day as well, with a festival stage providing a focal point for things and there will also be seating and tables set up to provide a chilled out area to take a breather and enjoy some food. The little ones will be well and truly entertained also, with bouncy castles, children's entertainers and more.
