Wexford man wins €2,000 on TV gameshow

A Wexford man scooped €2,000 on the Million Euro Challenge show on Saturday.

Spencer Byrne from Windmill Road was picked to take part in the Crack the Code game during the show and his wife Susan Passfield played on his behalf.

The show is presented by Nicky Byrne and saw players from Mayo, Galway and Limerick win cash prizes to the value of €60,100.

To enter, players must submit a 3-star Million Euro Challenge Scratch Card in a special envelope, available from all National Lottery Retail Sales Agents. Million Euro Challenge Scratch Card players can also enter a supplementary game, Crack The Code, for the chance to appear on the show and win up to €10,000. To enter, players must register the eight character code on the stub portion of their Million Euro Challenge Scratch Card on the National Lottery's website lottery.ie. This week's biggest Crack The Code winner was Noel Flynn from Dublin who won €10,000.
