Wexford on Ice - Wexford on Ice will take place on the Quay in Wexford Town right up until January 5. This authentic ice rink is one of the biggest in the country.
Stability aids are available for first-time skaters and there is a dedicated kiddie rink and kiddie skates for the little ones.
There will also be sensory friendly and wheelchair family skate sessions on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 10.a.m. (These sensory friendly sessions will be free, with the organisers just asking for a donation to a charity on the day).
The cost to skate is €11 - €48 (prices vary at off-peak times and for family bookings).
On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, the last skate is from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wexford on Ice will be closed on Christmas Day.

Bullring Christmas Market
Throughout the month of December, the Bullring market will transform into a Christmas Market with many extra Traders. It will have a great choice of locally handmade gifts and crafts as well as food and curios and will also give many Transition Year mini companies an opportunity to sell their wares. The market will be open on December 6, 7 and 8, 13, 14 and 15, and then from December 18 until Christmas Eve. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Sunday when it opens at 12 p.m.
Santa's North Pole Experience
Enter the magical and captivating world of the North Pole during Santa's North Pole Experience, which will be on Wexford Quay this Christmas as part of Wexford Winterland.
Firstly, children and families will meet Ellie the Elf who will lead you into the Magic Forest. Then, the Enchanted Gates will lead people into the Elves' Village where children can post their letters in Santa's official post box. Patch the Elf will then bring families, individually, to meet and receive a gift from Santa Claus.
The cost of entry varies: children aged 3-12: €17; toddlers aged 1 - 2: € 8.50; children under 12 months: free; adults: €8.50. Children and toddler tickets include a gift from Santa Claus. Under 12 months tickets do not include a gift. You can book a toddler ticket for a baby if you wish.
Gorey Art Circle's winter exhibition will take place in the Market House, Main Street, Gorey from Friday, December 6, to Sunday, December 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

Night Light road run
Oylegate Vintage Club will be holding a 'night light' road run on December 7, to raise money for Pieta House. The event will begin in the village at 6 p.m. and will travel to Enniscorthy where the vehicles will stop on the promenade. All money raised from the event will go towards the charity.
The Annual Christmas sale held in aid of Balloughton Church funds will take place on Saturday, December 7, at 2 p.m. in Balloughton Hall.
It will feature all the usual stalls such as raffle, cakes, bric-a-brac, books, plants etc. and a delicious afternoon tea will also be available. Your support would be very much valued and appreciated.
Night of music to celebrate Tom Waits
On the date that just happens to coincide with Tom Waits' 70th birthday, there will be a night of music for charity (St Francis Hospice) in Kilmuckridge Memorial Hall at 8.30 p.m. to celebrate his musical repertoire.
Many of Waits' songs will be performed on the night, by a range of musicians, many local and some who are travelling from afar to give their time for the night. The aim is to raise as much money as possible for St Francis Hospice. Admission is €7.50 at the door.
Christmas Coffee Day in Crossabeg
The annual fundraising coffee morning organised by Annis Kehoe is being held in Kyle Forge, Crossabeg. From the time you step into the Forge, there will be a roaring fire and you will be warmly greeted with a cup of tea or coffee and lovely cakes and buns.
This year, Annis has again decided that all money raised will go towards the local Crossabeg-Ballymurn community centre development project at Garrywilliam. During the event, there will be lots of tarts, buns, mince pies, Christmas cakes and puddings, jams and vegetables on sale, just in time for Christmas. Santa visits Kia Ora farm
Come to visit the animals, see Santa's cosy home and view the enchanting musical light show. Superstars Stage Academy at the Dun Mhuire
The young superstars bring their production of 'Candyville's 12 Days of Christmas' to the Dun Mhuire for two special shows. First, at 6 p.m. the Enniscorthy, Kilrane and Rosslare Harbour kids take to the stage. Then, at 8.15 p.m. it's the turn of the Wexford kids. Wells for wellness
Join Gorey's Liz Reilly for a two-hour yoga workshop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Well House, Ballyedmond where you will focus on bringing the mind and body back into equilibrium. Group94 Christmas Fair
Group94 is holding a Christmas Craft Fair to help raise funds for the Enniscorthy group of the Irish Pilgrimage Trust. The event, which will include a monster raffle, will take place in Bree Community Centre throughout the day from 10 a.m.
A Christmas Whist session will take place in Salt n Pepper restaurant, Enniscorthy at 2.30 p.m. The cost of admission will be €5 and there will be various prizes up for grabs with a top score prize of €50.
Christmas Craft Fair
Wexford Arts Centre presents its Annual Christmas craft fair, in association with the Wexford Craft Trail, from December 8 - 23. The Quay Note Choir will be on hand add to the festive atmosphere as crafts from across the county will be on display in the pillar room. The Craft Fair is open Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; and on Sunday, December 16 and 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tagoat Christmas Tree Switch On and Celebrations
Join us at St Mary's Church grounds, Tagoat at 5pm for the turning on of the Christmas lights and singing from St Mary's National School. We will have a special visit from Santa, who we will get to meet at the Community Centre afterwards. There will be hot chocolate and cookies for all children and mulled wine and mince pies for adults on the night.
Taghmon Christmas Lights
The skies around Taghmon will be well lit up for the turning on of the Christmas lights. Some of our local vintage tractors will arrive in style and they will be carrying a special family - Santa, Mrs Claus and some of their elves. There will be a blessing of the remembrance bows on our Christmas tree. It should be a night to remember, so come along and join us.
Screen/Curracloe Christmas party
The annual Christmas party for the senior citizens of the Screen/Curracloe area takes place in Hotel Curracloe. You are invited to attend at 2.30 p.m. for dinner which will be served up at 3 p.m. Following the dinner, all guests will be entertained by music and song. The organising committee look forward to seeing everyone there.
Killanne Tractor Run
The Killanne Tractor Run starts at 1 p.m. with raffle and prizes afterwards in Killanne Hall. The annual celebration of turning on the Christmas lights will take place on Killanne cross at 5 p.m. This is always a great event, with rumours of a special guest appearance on the night.

Sustainable Christmas market
Join Seal Rescue Ireland in Courtown for the Sustainable Christmas Market as the charity host a family fun day. All are welcome to visit the seals in their care, enjoy an educational tour, do some Christmas shopping at the stalls and join the fun kids' activities.
