Byrne resigns as national boss
THE ALL-IRELAND Chairman of the Horseshoe Pitchers Association of Ireland, John Joe Byrne, has resigned his position after two years.
He would like to thank all the clubs from Wexford for their support and votes, as if it was not for them he would not have got in.
Colm Raymond, All-Ireland Secretary, has also resigned his position for personal reasons.
A reminder that there is a Wexford County Board meeting in Ferns this Wednesday at 8 p.m.
It is important all clubs have a representative present.
There is an open doubles tournament in Curracloe on Sunday next with a 2.30 p.m. start.
