There was never so much silverware on display, probably in any club, as there was in Kilanerin Sports hall on Sunday.

Everything from under ten tournament winner cups and shields to the Intermediate football Leinster cup. And just about every age group in between.

Ladies football, camogie, boys football and hurling plus adult men all contributed to the impressive display.

It is no coincidence that Rackard League, Mini sevens and Community Games medals had also been won during the year.

Those boys and girls too young for competitive matches received a specially designed club medal, many of which most likely had to be bribed from around their necks on Monday morning.

The large crowd present from Kilanerin and Tara Rocks could see for themselves, that with good coaching and organizing, success, as well as enjoyment, can create memories and friends for life.
