Duffry's delight in Féile decider

DUFFRY ROVERS won the Slaney camogie festival Roinn 1 crown in Farmleigh with a seven-point win over Oylegate-Glenbrien.

Katie Colclough pointed a free for the eventual winners in the sixth minute, and she quickly added a second before a long scoreless spell ensued.

Midfielders Dearbhla Doyle and Laura Kelly were doing well for Oylegate-Glenbrien, but Abbie O'Connor's goal in the 20th minute kept the Duffry in the driving seat.

A second O'Connor goal just before the break extended the gap to eight (2-2 to nil), but the girls in blue were first to score on the re-start when Doyle converted a '45 in the tenth minute.

Abbie O'Connor's third major followed for the Duffry, but Oylegate-Glenbrien kept battling and were rewarded when another '45 from Dearbhla Doyle went all the way to the net.

The cup was presented to Aine Murphy of Duffry Rovers by Rachel Hogan, Co. Chairperson.
