Well done to the Seniors who had an excellent 3-11 to 1-11 win over Castletown in their second league game in Tomnahely on Friday night.

Hard luck to the Juniors who went down to Tara Rocks by 2-8 to 1-7 in their second league game in The Rock on Saturday.

The Minors were also unlucky to go down in their second championship outing on Sunday, with Oylegate-Glenbrien triumphing in Páirc Charman by 0-9 to 1-5.
Hurling will take precedence for a fortnight now before our next Senior league game away to Starlights on Saturday, March 28, at 3 p.m.
Congratulations to Noel Murphy on his selection as clubperson of the year, with the award presented at a function in the Riverbank House recently.
Membership is now due and must be paid ASAP. The fees are: adult players €120, students/unemployed €95, under-age €40, family €100.
Model County Development Draw tickets are now on sale, so please consider purchasing one from the club.
Well done to goalscorer Aine Lacey, Ciara Donohoe, Bridget Curran and debutant Deirdre McMahon who helped the Wexford Seniors to a 2-4 to 0-8 win over Offaly in their first Irish Daily Star National League Division 1 outing in Hollymount on Sunday.
Jessie Harding, Sarah Harding-Kenny and Larah Campbell also enjoyed a weekend win over Offaly, in the Leinster Under-16 championship in St. Patrick's Park, Enniscorthy on Saturday by 2-7 to 1-4.
Congratulations to former player Selena Carr and Terry Gainfort who were married on Saturday.
The following training times are being used by club teams in the astro-turf in Hollymount: Under-8, Monday, 5.30 to 6.30 p.m.; Under-10, Monday, 6.30 to 7.30 p.m.; Under-12, Monday, 7.30 to 8.30 p.m.; Under-14, Thursday, 7 to 8 p.m.; Under-16 and Under-18, Thursday, 7.30 to 8.30 p.m. Please wear runners for all training sessions and bring €2 for lights.
New players will be warmly welcomed at all levels, so feel free to contact any of the under-age team managers if your daughter is interested in giving camogie a go. Faythe Harriers in Castleboro at 8 p.m.; Saturday, March 14, ACHL Division 4, Faythe Harriers v. Rosslare in Páirc Charman at 3 p.m.; Sunday, March 15, ACHL Division 7, Faythe Harriers v. Cushinstown in Páirc Charman at 4 p.m.
All three teams will also be in action the following weekend, with details to follow in next week's notes.

Our Junior footballers beat the Starlights on Saturday in the ACFL Division 4 round two on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-5.
Our Minor footballers beat Duffry Rovers in the first round of Roinn 1A on a scoreline of 2-5 to 0-6. They continue their league campaign on Sunday, March 15, against the Shamrocks in Fr. Murphy Park at 11 a.m.
Our Intermediate hurlers open their ACL Division 2 campaign against Oulart-The Ballagh on Friday in Oulart at 8 p.m.
Our Junior hurlers open their ACL Division 6 campaign against Clonee on Sunday in Blackwater at 11 a.m.
Any players that haven't paid membership for 2015, please do so at training during the week. The 200 club fully paid-up front members' draw took place in the clubhouse on Friday night. The two winners of €200 were Eamon Cullen and Fr. Hugh O'Byrne.
Scoil Naomh Bríd won all their games in the mini-sevens football on Tuesday. The mini-sevens hurling begins today in Hollymount. We play Castlebridge and Piercestown.
Our walking track continues to be a great success with great crowds getting use of this facility each night. A reminder that a donation box is on the wall at the entrance and all donations are appreciated which contribute to paying for the lights.

Lotto numbers last week were 3, 5, 6 and 24. The jackpot now stands at €17,800. Tickets are available on the night of the draw or from any committee member.

On Saturday the first team had a great win over Bunclody while the second team also had a win over Horeswood. On Sunday the Minors lost to St. Martin's.

The club would like to thank the many people who have put in a tremendous effort over many weeks in ensuring that the Super Draw will be a great success. To the many weekly sellers and those who have taken a book of tickets to sell individually, we thank you for your time and hard work.
All those people who have outstanding books and have not returned them to the club, you are reminded to do so over the next week or so. Tickets should be returned to any official of the club.
The Junior footballers travelled to Cushinstown on Saturday night to take on the local team in the second round of the league and came away 1-8 to 0-6 victors in very windy conditions.
The Shels got off to a great start with points from Conor Ryan, Conor Byrne and Willie O'Shaughnessy, however four unanswered points saw the local side lead by the narrowest of margins at half-time.
Shelmaliers dominated the second-half and when Brian Murphy scored the only goal in the 15th minute it secured victory for the visitors.
The Senior footballers travelled to Bellefield on Friday night to take on the Starlights, going down on a final scoreline of 1-7 to 0-8. A goal on the stroke of half-time for the Starlights was the difference between the sides, leaving a score of 1-4 to 0-5.
The second-half was an even affair with Brian Doyle, Tony Smith and Barry O'Connor on the mark for the Shelmaliers who missed many scoreable opportunities in the closing stages.
The Minor footballers took on a combined Gusserane/Adamstown team in the third round of the championship in Hollymount on Sunday morning. The local side started slowly and were in arrears by 1-6 to 0-3 after 15 minutes, but they showed a real fighting spirit in the third quarter, bringing the scoreline to 1-7 to 1-6 in favour of the visitors.
The last ten minutes were exciting with the Shelmaliers missing three great goal opportunities and Gusserane/Adamstown pulling away in the closing minutes to win on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-7. The team plays Taghmon next Sunday at 11 a.m.
Under-age indoor training details: Mondays, 6-7 p.m., Under-14 hurling; 7-8 p.m., Under-16 and Minor hurling; Thursday, 7-8 p.m., Under-10 and Under-12 hurling training, all taking place in the alleys in St. Peter's.
And every Tuesday the Under-6s and Under-8s train from 6-7 p.m. for hurling or football as sent out by group text, with Under-10 and Under-12 football training from 7-8 p.m., and Under-14 and Under-16 football training from 8-9 p.m.

Our Senior camogie team played their first league game versus Ferns on Sunday morning and came away with a win on a scoreline of 1-2 to 0-3. Well done ladies!
Congratulations to Clodagh Jackman who lined out at wing-forward for the Wexford Under-16 camogie team on Saturday in their win over Dublin by 2-7 to 1-4.
The camogie club annual Easter raffle will take place in Declan's on Thursday, April 2, at 9 p.m., and tickets will be distributed this week. We look forward to the usual support for this event.
Well done to our Intermediate footballers who defeated St. Mary's (Maudlintown) by 2-11 to 0-3 on Saturday in the ACL.
Club members flocked to Wexford Park on Sunday to support our clubmen Mark Fanning (hurling ) and Rob Tierney and Michael O'Regan (football) as they represented Wexford in the double-header versus Limerick.
Well done to our Minor footballers who had a comfortable championship win over Rathgarogue-Cushinstown on Sunday morning.
Club Minors Rowan White and David Clarke represented Wexford on Saturday in the hurling league win over Dublin by 1-17 to 0-12.
On Saturday our Under-12 boys welcomed a team from Mungret/St Paul's in Limerick for challenge games in both hurling and football, and both clubs enjoyed their afternoon of sport.

Tickets are now on sale for the club dinner dance which takes place on Saturday, March 28, in Ferrycarrig Hotel. Admission is €25.
Membership for 2015 is now due: adult players, €100; students and non-playing members, €50. All mentors' (adult and under-age) memberships are €50.

St. Anne's Cóiste na nÓg 5km/10km walk/run will take place on Sunday, March 29, at 11.30 a.m. Entry fee for an individual is €10 (over 16 only, but free to Operation TrANNE'Sformation participants). Entries will be accepted on the day.
The route will run from Rathangan walking track to the railway crossing, Graiguesallagh, Knocktown Cross, Robinstown, Rathangan walking track (five km. = one circuit; 10 km. = two circuits).
The ladies' club would like to thank the volunteers for your help with their recent fundraiser in Pettitt's and those who bought tickets, it was much appreciated. The total profit raised over the three days was €1,214. This money will help the club greatly throughout the year ahead.
