Glynn-Barntown camogie club had a wonderful visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus last Saturday at the clubhouse. Santa arrived at 5 p.m. and was delighted to spend time with all of the very nice and not at all naughty children of Glynn-Barntown.
Thanks to the camogie club and committee and all of the fantastic elves for their hard work and Christmas spirit, to Emerald Group Ltd. for their kind donations of Christmas trees, to D.J. Dave for entertaining the crowd, to the G.A.A. club for their constant support and the use of their facilities, to all who baked cakes for the event, to Santa and Mrs. Claus for taking time out at this busy time, and most of all to the parents and children who came along and allowed us to create a bit of magic again this year.
Good luck to Cora Doyle, Emma Sweeney and Aisling Halligan who are attending Under-16 county camogie trials at the moment.
