Oulart-The Ballagh booked their spot in the Leinster Senior club hurling championship final with a comfortable victory over Clonkill in Cusack Park on Sunday afternoon last.

Oulart-The Ballagh 0-16 Clonkill 0-8

The Wexford champions did plenty of damage in the first half with four Nicky Kirwan points added to by braces from Des Mythen, Rory Jacob and David Redmond as Oulart went in at the interval leading 0-11 to 0-3.

Playing against the breeze in the second half was always going to test the victors and when Clonkill pulled themselves within six points with thirteen minutes remaining they still had hopes of pulling off the upset.

However, Frank Flannery's men continued to battle and withstood the Clonkill fightback to ease clear on the back of three second half points from the in-form Mythen.

Next up for Oulart-The Ballagh is the provincial final, scheduled for November 29th, against Cuala of Dublin. The capital club overcame Clara of Kilkenny to make the title game.
