Schools busy next week

The two Wexford schools involved in the Leinster Senior hurling 'A' championship (Corn Uí Dhúill) will have to be in top form before Christmas if they want to retain an involvement in the action in the new year.

Participants in both codes expressed a desire for more games, but in order to facilitate this the organisers have opted to stage the quarter-finals on Wednesday, December 13.

St. Peter's have a home draw against Kilkenny C.B.S., while Good Counsel (New Ross) were granted a similar advantage and await the winners of the group team section.

The Barrowsiders have already exited the football, while Peter's won a must-win clash with Athlone C.C. yesterday (Monday).
