National League fixtures released

MANAGERLESS WEXFORD will open their Division 1B Allianz National Hurling League campaign away to Antrim on Sunday, February 26.

The opening game, which is sure to provide a searching test for Wexford given their recent visits to Casement Park, will also be a must-win one, as any dropping of points would leave them playing catch-up for the remainder of the campaign in an effort to qualify for the Division 1B final and also the league semi-final proper.

Wexford's opening home game is against Offaly on Sunday, March 11.

Meanwhile, Jason Ryan's Wexford footballers will have their first competitive game since their controversial qualifier exit to Limerick with an opening league tie against Cavan on February 5.

Hurling: February 26, away to Antrim; March 11, home to Offaly; March 18, away to Limerick; March 25, away to Clare; April 1, home to Laois.

Football: February 5, home to Cavan; February 12, away to Sligo; March 4, home to Tipperary; March 11, away to Offaly; March 18, away to Roscommon; March 25, away to Antrim; April 8, away to Longford.
