Lady President Patricia Murphy's special day was on Saturday last in St. Helen's Bay G.C. The weather was not kind to us as it was extremely windy, cold and very wet as the day went on.

There was a great turn-out of players for this popular lady. It was a close finish between Helene and Aine, both with 37 points and Aine winning on the countback. Both these ladies scored really well in such trying conditions.

Congratulations to Paula, Susan and Therese who also featured in the prizes. The dinner and presentation of prizes was thoroughly enjoyed by a big crowd later that night.

Lady President Pat was a natural on the microphone and gave a very witty speech. It was wonderful to see so many of her family and friends there enjoying her special day and night with her. Music and dancing went on late into the night.
