Tullamore 18 Enniscorthy 5
It was a bit sticky underfoot in Ross Road as the Enniscorthy Under-15 team welcomed Tullamore, the reigning Leinster champions.
Enniscorthy had a great start with James Doyle breaking from a scrum on the Tullamore '22. The ball was re-cycled and Conor Murphy crashed over close to the corner. Conaill Kervick was very close with the conversion but it wasn't to be.
Tullamore applied pressure on Enniscorthy for the remainder of the first-half, and there was great plays on either side. Tullamore had more territory and Enniscorthy did well to keep them out.
In the second-half Tullamore started well and scored after sustained pressure with five minutes gone, but they failed to convert.
Tullamore were getting more into their rhythm and were doing better than Enniscorthy at the breakdown.
Enniscorthy were not able to get out of their own half enough and succumbed to a penalty 13 minutes into the half, and again 20 minutes into the half, leaving the score 11-5.
Enniscorthy still had it all to play for but in trying to break free made an error, allowing Tullamore in for a converted try with three minutes to go. The final score was 18-5.
