Class 2 and 3 seek titles in the west

THIS WEEKEND the county's Class 2 and 3 squads are heading to Galway for the All-Ireland inter-county finals.

On Saturday morning the Class 3 side face old rivals Cork in the semifinal.

Cork have been Wexford's bogey team of late in the competition, having won the last two encounters between the sides, so Wexford will be hoping for a change of fortune on Saturday.

Sligo take on Tipperary in the second semi-final.

On Sunday the Class 2 squad face a gruelling series of four matches as the competition is played on a round robin basis. Wexford will have to overcome Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Meath if they wish to regain the title they last won in 2008.
