It was a very good week for Barntown owner George Roche as he enjoyed three winners at Enniscorthy Greyhound Track, two of them on Thursday night.

Howya Buddy got him off to a flying start as he raced to a clearcut six and a half lengths win in a good 28.90.

The last race saw his Black Tango score by an even wider margin, seven and a half lengths in an identical time of 28.90.

Rip Rock Paddy completed the treble when taking race three over the 575 distance on Monday night, scoring a snug win in a good 31.75.

Wicklow owner James Whelan also had a very good night on Monday, recording a good double with both wins by short heads.

His Some Storm won the fifth race in a good 28.98, and then in the next race his Gareths Star also battled all the way right on the line to score, also by the minimum distance, in 29.34.

On Monday night the Christmas Parties at Enniscorthy stake got under way, with 24 runners going to traps in four heats.

It was in heat two where we saw the now odds-on favourite for outright honours as Suzies Mick returned to top form when racing right away from the fields to score a wide-margin win in a fast 28.97 for Susie Nolan and Daniel Frayne.

The last race of the night over 575 yards saw a great battle between Cill Dubh Chief and Flying Lola, and hot favourite Cill Dubh was all out to hold the game Flying Lola by half a length.
