Max makes big splash
Josh Murphy from Enniscorthy has been steadily making a name for himself on the rugby field with Leinster and various Ireland representative sides.
However, his twin brother, Max, is also making a splash of a different kind as he is performing well on the rowing scene in New Zealand where he is now based.
The Coolnahorna native was in action on Lake Karapiro recently and enjoyed double success with his Waikato team-mates, taking the Senior Eight and Senior Four finals in the 'A' grade in 6:19.55 and 6:15.01 respectively.
There was also a fourth-place finish in the Senior Pair final in a time of 6:51.51.
It was a very successful day on the whole for Max who, like his twin, studied in U.C.D.
