'Rocket Dee Rocket' still unbeaten

There was another good crowd in attendance last Monday night and the card featured two unraced finals.

The Dawsons Bar Final was first up and there was another cracking run by the youngster 'Rocky Dee Rocket' who maintained his unbeaten record when he came from behind leader 'Telex Cracker' to win going away in the end, scoring by two and a half lengths in a good 29.16 for young owner Master Dean O'Leary, Enniscorthy.

The next race (seven) saw the M.R.A. Electrical Unraced final and what a close race it was, as only a length separated the first four home.

Trap five runner 'Our Little Dolly' set the pace before 'Abbies Glance' challenged by the third bend and looked the likely winner. However, trap three runner 'Vinegarhill Ruby' was making her run also and after a battle to the line the result saw a dead heat between 'Abbies Glance' owned by Michael Murphy, Wexford town, and 'Vinegarhill Ruby' owned by Pat Hyland, Enniscorthy with 'Our little Dolly' a short head away in third.
