TV stardom awaits!

Attention school-goers: if you feel you have what it takes to become the next top television sports analyst, now is your chance to impress!

Sporting legend and Sky Sports pundit, Peter Canavan, and NIAVAC, Northern Ireland's largest AV company, have joined forces to launch an exciting new schools competition to find Ireland's next best young sports analyst and reward the top sporting analysts of the next generation.

The competition is open to all primary and secondary schools across Ireland and pupils are being encouraged to 'talk a good game' and take a leaf out of Peter's book as a commentator by having a go at their own sporting match analysis.

Pupils will be required to film their own post-match analysis of a school sporting match (of any game and at any level) as an individual or in a team of up to six from the same school. Peter will select five finalist schools to go through to the final stage of the competition, with the winner selected by public vote.

Up for grabs is a state-of-the-art 70" Clevertouch interactive touchscreen for the winning school's classroom worth €5,500. This is akin to a giant iPad and provides schools with a fully interactive and responsive platform to improve learning, with over one hundred schools across Ireland already availing of this technology.

The prize also includes Peter Canavan visiting the winning school. The competition is now open, and full details are available on The closing date for submissions is March 31 at 5 p.m.
