Wanderers news

The Wexford Wanderers first team travelled to North Meath and had a convincing full-time score of 32-23, continuing their streak of good days out on both away and home soil.

Tries were scored by Liam Barry, Tom Brennan, Colm O Corcora and Corey Carty to ensure another excellent result despite the long journey.

The lady Vixens unfortunately did not have a good weekend, and lost to a more experienced and battle-hardened Wanderers 54-5, but it was a valiant effort nonetheless by all those who travelled and a learning experience.

The youth teams had another good weekend both at home and away, with all wins recorded again by the various teams.

Everyone was touched by the sad passing of a gentleman, supporter, coach and long-time friend of all at Wexford W.R.F.C., Colm O'Callaghan.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Majella, sons Fionn and Donnacha, and extended family at this sad time. May he rest in peace.
