Bridge back to form with a bang

Division 1

Bridge Rovers have suffered a mini blip of late, but they got back to winning ways in style on Sunday as they put St. Leonards to the sword, winning 6-1.

Ray McGlone was in superb form for the Castlebridge side, helping himself to four goals, while Terry Gainfort and Kevin Murphy added a goal apiece.

Wexford Bohs went one better as they hammered Forth Celtic 7-0.

Dermot Flood scored a hat-trick for the town side, with Seán Pailing added a double, and Aaron Lambert and Eddie Lawlor contributed one goal each.

Table-toppers Ferns United saw off bottom side Taghmon United 2-0, while St. Cormac's beat St. Joseph's by the same scoreline thanks to goals from Michael Rossiter and Ray O'Brien.
