Camolin Celtic claim Under-13 title for first time
Full of excitement and nerves, Camolin Celtic Under-13s took on Glynn Barntown in their final match, the decider in Division 3 to determine who would be champions.
As the match started there was pressure on everyone but within ten minutes Camolin's Adam Goff put the first goal in the back of the net, shortly followed by another from team-mate Alan Murphy.
Going into the second-half 2-0 up, there was great defending by the team.
It was a great team performance with everyone up for the challenge, motivated by their dedicated mentors, Jules Breen and Seán Murphy, who were delighted to see their young charges getting the rewards they so richly deserved after putting in such a Trojan effort.
Constant outstanding performances throughout the year were rewarded, only losing one match during the whole league. It was the first time ever for Camolin Celtic to win this competition.
Well done and congratulations to: Kailum Breen, Martin Byrne, Eoin Curran, Páuric Doyle, Jamie O'Brien, Nathan Byrne, Brian Murphy, Adam Goff, Alan Murphy, Alex McSwinny, Cian Byrne, Daniel Breen, Oscar Murray, Craig Blackburn, Adam Somers, Jake O'Leary and Eamon Dunbar.
