Clubs eyes cup success

Draws are made for all the local competitions

The draws for all the Wexford Football League cup competitions were made in the Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy recently.

Wexford Volkswagen Cup holders North End United and the other Premier Division clubs won't have to concern themselves with first round action, but there are many lower league teams that will be eyeing a decent run in the competition.

In the Neil O'Sullivan Cup, last season's beaten finalists Cloughbawn will be aiming to go one better this time around, while Wexford Albion will hoping to do likewise in the Billy Browne Cup.

Newcomers Glynn-Barntown will be fancied to do well in the Gwyn Jones Cup, while Gorey Rangers are in with a good shout of retaining their Youth Cup crown.
