U-12 Division 1

North End United 0, Wexford Youths 9: In a game played in difficult weather conditions, Wexford Youths proved far too strong for a young North End side and ran out comfortable 9-0 winners. U-12 Division 2A

Gorey Rangers 0, Aughrim Rangers 4: Aughrim Rangers continued their good form at this age group as they travelled to the Showgrounds and came away 4-0 winners.

Adamstown 0, Forth Celtic 0: Both these sides cancelled each other out in a game that defences dominated.

Both created chances but neither were able to convert the opportunities, and in the end they had to settle for a point each.

Bridge Rovers 4, Kilmore United 1: Rovers opened their campaign with a win as they overcame a hard-working Kilmore side 4-1.

Niamh Fortune was on target for the visitors while Olivia Morris (two), Mia Denton and Aoife McEldowney scored the vital goals that gave Bridge Rovers the three points.

U-12 Division 2B

St. Joseph's 2, Cushinstown A.F.C. 0: Goals from Kaycee O'Connor and Aine Mooney gave St. Joseph's an opening day win over a young Cushinstown side.

A goal in each half saw the home side take the points in an end-to-end exciting encounter.
