Good wins for Gorey and Forth

Youths round-up

Gorey Rangers maintained their 100 per cent record in the Youths Premier Division as they overcame Moyne Rangers in a hard-fought encounter on Saturday.

The north county side came out on top 2-0 thanks to goals from Cillian Gilligan and Jordan Kennedy.

In the other game played in the top division Forth Celtic ran out impressive 4-1 winners against Gorey Celtic in Murrintown. Liam Coleman got the goal for the visitors but Forth tooks the spoils with Andy Kennedy, Jack Brazil, Dylan Lyne and Kyle Firman hitting the back of the net.

Leaders Curracloe United proved too good for bottom side Bridge Rovers in their Youths Division 2 clash on Saturday.

The seasiders saw off their local rivals 5-2 with goals from James Doyle (two), Jamie Furlong, Seán Keane-Carroll and Kyle Roche.

In Youths Division 3 Shelburne earned a 3-1 victory away to Kilmore United with goals from Brian Lynch, Fergus Stafford and Eoin Burke, while Syzmon Cryz got both goals for New Ross Town as they drew 2-2 with Duncannon.

Camolin moved to the top of Youths Division 4 after overcoming Killenagh Wanderers 3-1 in the top of the table clash.

Cian Byrne, Keith Crosbie and Stuart Byrne got the goals for the winners.
