Bunclody and Courtown Hibs shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw, with P.J. Mulhall scoring for Bunclody and Colin O'Brien replying for Hibs.

Campile United earned their first win of the season when edging out Kilmore United 2-1 with goals from Eric Banville and Dale Flynn, although the referee called an early halt to the game on 86 minutes after two Kilmore players had been dismissed.

Elsewhere New Ross Celtic and Gorey Rangers drew 0-0, while Shamrock Rovers and North End United also played out a scoreless draw in the clash of the heavyweights (see focus match).
