Must-win game for Wexford Under-18s

Next Saturday will see the Wexford Under-18 Schoolgirls' Inter-League squad take on the Metropolitan Schoolgirls' League from Dublin in their final group game of this season's FAI competition.

The task for the Wexford girls is a straightforward one, as they must win the game and know that a victory will see them through to the semi-finals.

Cork beat Wexford 3-1 in the opening game and then beat the MGL 1-0, so they have qualified, while Limerick lost 6-0 to MGL and drew 2-2 with Wexford, leaving the race for runners-up spot very tight.

Wexford manager Alan Browne has his squad well prepared for this game which will be played in Curracloe with a 2 p.m. kick-off, and it would be great to see as many as possible there to support the girls.
