North End United warm up for cup clash with big win

NORTH END United warmed up for their Aircon Mech Wexford Cup semi-final clash with Forth Celtic this coming weekend with a 6-1 demolition of Bunclody in the Premier Division on Sunday.

Jason Murphy netted a hat-trick for John Godkin's men, while Darren Browne added a double and Warren Broaders got their other goal.

Forth Celtic will also enter the cup clash with a victory behind them as they edged out Courtown 5-4 in a free-flowing encounter. Anthony Hayes bagged a treble, with Ciarán Redmond and Michael O'Brien adding a goal apiece.

Elsewhere, Ferns United collected the points against Park Hotspur, coming away with a 1-0 win.
