Rangers are held by Ferns

Division 1

Leaders Rosslare Rangers had to settle for a share of the spoils on Sunday when they were held to a 1-1 in Ferns. Gearóid Byrne got on the scoresheet for the visitors, with Anthony Dwyer netting for United.

Forth Celtic also played out a 1-1 draw on their travels as they claimed a point against North End. Danny Fitzpatrick scored for the hosts and Lee Busher replied for Celtic.

Moyne Rangers won 2-0 in Campile, with Glen Buckley opening the scoring and Mark Kirwan firing a 30-yard free-kick to the corner of the net.

Shelburne were too good for struggling Kilmore United, winning 3-0 with a Brian Minogue double and a goal from Chris Connick.

Elsewhere St. Leonards picked up a 4-1 win in Curracloe (see focus match).
