Rathnure edge it

RATHNURE CAME out on top in a seven-goal thriller, edging out St. Michael's 4-3 on their travels with goals from Steven Quigley, Graham Nolan, Larry Martin and Anthony O'Connell. Curracloe were another side to score four in an away game, as they beat Ballindaggin 4-2, with Mark O'Connor netting a double for the winners and Michael Rossiter and Robbie Staples adding to their tally.

Wexford Celtic also picked up three points, seeing off Moyne Rangers with goals from B.A. Bridges and John Browne, with Barry Nolan replying for Moyne.

Elsewhere Eric Banville gave Campile the lead but Colin Fleming replied to earn a share of the spoils for Coolgreany, and St. Joseph's edged out Gorey Celtic 1-0.
