Rovers march on
Leinster Junior Cup
Shamrock Rovers eased into the third round of the O'Neill's Leinster Junior Cup with a facile victory over Belgard Athletic on Sunday.
The Enniscorthy outfit ran out 5-1 winners, with Jonny Dwyer helping himself to a hat-trick and Eoin McDonald and Dan Carroll adding a goal apiece.
There was no joy for the other two Wexford teams in action in the competition though, with Shelburne edged out 2-1 by Carnew AFC and Tombrack suffering a 6-0 reverse away to Larkview Boys.
Denis Murray gave Shelburne the lead in their match at Ballywilliam, but goals from Cillian Gilligan and P.J. O'Keeffe sent the Wicklow side through.
